The Kansas City Chiefs have signed WR Amani Toomer (48-580 yards-4 TDs) to a one-year contract, according to ESPN. The man is 35 and is coming off of one of the worst seasons of his long career in New York so a smaller, quieter city could be good for him and his mental mindset.
Look for him to split out wide opposite of WR Dwayne Bowe and get plenty of looks while Bowe draws double teams. Toomer is capable of becoming a possession receiver for the Chiefs and putting up solid numbers.
Toomer could very well be a fantasy sleeper in this type of offense coached by Todd Haley.
