Andre Miller, the 76ers unrestricted free agent, has apparently signed with the Portland Trail Blazers. The Blazers have been after many free agents this offseason including Hedo Turkoglu, Paul Millsap, and reports of other lesser name guards. In my opinion this doesn't do too much for Portland at this point in Miller's career. They have a good young prospect in Bayless, and have Steve Blake at the point. Additionally, their best player, Brandon Roy, controls the ball a lot in the clutch and will continue to do so. Miller doesn't bring the Blazers any higher than the four seed that they had last season. They will be behind the Lakers, Spurs, Nuggets, and perhaps a handful of other teams at this rate, in my opinion but: Time will tell.
