The Wisconsin State Journal has reported that the Green Bay Packers have had legitimate discussions about signing free agent QB or WR or possibly RB or maybe CB Michael Vick. General Manager Ted Thompson refused to rule out Vick when asked about signing him Tuesday. If the Packers were to sign Vick he would be the back up to Aaron Rodgers.
I really believe this would be a dumb thing for the Pack to do. Rodgers had a great season last year (4,038 yards, 28 TDs) and he has had enough career disturbances. Bringing in Vick to Green Bay would once again being angst to Rodgers life and could lead to a possible downfall. Trust me Ted, you do NOT want to screw that up.
