Burress has hired a prison coach to prep him for life behind bars for the next two years. His lawyer, Benjamin Brafman, told the Post that he is looking to use his time behind bars productively to gain a positive experience out of all of it.
The use of a coach could benefit
Burress during his time in jail because what he does right when he is out is extremely important. When he is out of jail he will be 34-years-old and looking to play in the NFL again. This will obviously be similar to the Vick situation, except he will be older. He needs to stay in shape in jail so he can join a team when he is out because most teams will not be aiming for a wide out in his mid-thirties.
It will be interesting to see how he handles himself behind bars during his time of incarceration.
Give your thoughts on Plax' jail sentence and if you think it was just.
6 months would have been tough enough and fair.
