Klein: Marshall Suspended By Broncos

The Denver Broncos have indefinitely suspended WR Brandon Marshall due to "unspecified "detrimental conduct". AKA...he was stupid and they thought that by suspending him they would prove a point. This will just make their offense worse. Good job McDaniels!

Marshall has made several demands for a new contract or exportation from the team. Obviously head coach Josh McDaniels doesn't have either of these actions in his plans for the future.

Marshall rebelled by refusing to learn the playbook, which landed him deep in the depth chart and held out of preseason games.

Then things only got worse...

During warmups on Wednesday, Marshall walked while the rest of the team ran. He punted the ball away instead of handing the ball to the ball boy. Then he swatted all passes that came his way in drills. Sounds like he is pretty pissed to me.

On NFL Live last night he told ESPN that he was not trying to force a trade with his actions and that the frustration just altered his maturity.

That is total BS.

This guy is PISSED OFF. The Broncos informed the team to not praise the fact that he was acquitted of the misdemeanor battery charges by his ex-girlfriend. What the hell is that?

What is this franchise trying to prove to the fans, the media, and Marshall himself?

This guy is one of the best wide outs in the league and they NEED him to be at the top of his game if they want to have a productive offense. The already screwed up with Cutler, why do the same with Baby T.O.?

Although I think it is BS, he still apologized. To suspend him after an apology makes no progress in the messy off season for the Broncos.

Marshall clearly wants out of Denver, we all know that. So why don't they just trade him?

Well, I am not so sure if anyone wants him. But that just confuses me!

Why wouldn't you want a top-tier wide out who has the potential to be one of the best in the league?

Just wait for the Jets and Redskins to contact his agent this week. Something WILL get done.

  1. Are you seriously saying that you want this guy on the Jets? His behavior is OK? I don't get what you are saying.

  2. I would take this guy on the Jets in a split second. His behavior is NOT okay, but it is understandable. The organization went behind his back to make him feel belittled because of something he did off the field. Telling the team to not support him...what kind of team is that? Marshall deserves more money, a better team, and a better coach.
