Klein: Mets Fire Exec After Unusual Tirade

The New York Mets and Omar Minaya have fired team executive Tony Bernazard after an extremely strange stunt he pulled. The New York Daily News reported that while visiting the Double-A Binghamton Mets, Bernazard took off his shirt while addressing the team after a loss and challenged players to a fight due to frustration. Binghamton has the poorest record in the Eastern League during this season due to a poor Mets farm system and that is clearly what set off Bernazard. This ex-MLB player who averaged a poor .262 at the plate during his career is not one to talk about poor performances. Sorry Tony!
